In Just Three Days, Nine People Cross into Croatia through Montenegro Illegally

Lauren Simmonds

Nine foreign nationals were caught illegally crossing the state border between Montenegro and the Republic of Croatia in four separate cases.

As Dubrovacki Dnevnik reports on the 12th of September, 2017, three Albanian citizens and six citizens of Kosovo have found themselves landed with a two-year ban on entry and stay in the Republic of Croatia owing to their illegal crossing of the state border between the Republic of Croatia and its southern neighbour, Montenegro. Montenegro has since announced their readmission.

The cases came to light owing to Gruda Police Station in Konavle and the separate cases all occurred within the span of the last three days.
