One of the most successful and fastest growing franchises in Croatia, Surf’n’Fries, which was launched seven years ago in Rijeka by Andrija Čolak and Denis Polić, was finally welcomed into Russia.
Vecernji List reports that the first commercial pilot facility is open in one of the many railway stations in Moscow with a scarce supply of food – creating a high frequency of potential customers. This concept is what the duo will focus on in the future, and by the end of the year, they hope to open two more stores at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport.
“We are always trying something different and creative, and Russia has the greatest potential of all 16 countries in which we have ever visited,” explains Andrija Čolak.
The owners of the brand Surf’n’Fries have also signed an agreement to open an additional 300-400 stores over the next 5 years across Russia and Kazakhstan.
Surf’n’Fries offers a variety of of fries (and a selection of dips), wings, nuggets, and sandwiches. Surf’n’Fries locations reach everywhere from Vietnam to Germany, Norway, Austria, Turkey, Slovenia, Hungary, Romania, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro while most stores are, of course, located in Croatia.
