During her participation in the international Forum on global security in Bratislava, President Grabar Kitarović and representatives of SAAB and Microsoft talked about possible cooperation.
According to the press release published on the president’s official website on April 17, 2016, Kolinda Grabar Kitarović met with the representatives of global giants Microsoft and SAAB during her participation in the international Forum on global security in Bratislava.
During the meeting with Kolinda Grabar Kitarović, president of Microsoft for Central and Eastern Europe Don Grantham expressed an interest in investing in Croatia and discussed the possibility of helping with the further digitalization of the state administration, development of IT culture in Croatia and training of students in Croatia. President Kitarović stated that it is imperative that every person in Croatia has Internet access, especially when it comes to the population living on Croatian islands.
Saabs Head of Market in Europe, Middle East and Africa Magnus Lewis-Olsson and President Grabar Kitarović spoke about possible cooperation in the development of Croatia’s air force. The president expressed her opinion that Croatia should keep its air force and added that she hopes such a “responsible and fitting” decision will be made with the approval of Croatian people.
