In all three polls, SDP has a slight lead over HDZ, but neither side is anywhere near the majority. In Nova TV’s poll, which is the most current one, both SDP and HDZ have considerably smaller number of seats, which means they would have to form wider coalitions with smaller parties.
HDZ can expect to win three additional MPs elected by Croatian nationals living abroad. National minorities elect eight MPs. The total number of MPs is 151, and it takes 76 MPs to form a majority.
