Todorić Publishes Text of Lawsuit He Filed Against Croatia to European Commission

Just when you thought the former Agrokor boss couldn’t possibly take it any further…

The somewhat infamous and almost iconic blog has been active for some time now, and the accusatory posts have been aimed at all and sundry, no member of the government has been safe, and Andrej Plenković, Martina Dalić and Agrokor’s government appointed extraordinary commissioner, Ante Ramljak, have been among the favourite ”usual suspects” to sling mud at in Todorić’s eyes, and the bizarre accusations and claims continue to this very day.

If you thought Agrokor’s former majority owner was just bluffing and it was all a case of talk and no action, you might be surprised to find out the next step that has been taken by the disgruntled and vengeful ”gazda” as he files a lawsuit against the Republic of Croatia, directly to the European Commission itself.

As RTL writes on the 12th of January, 2018, Ivica Todorić is arguing that legal steps are being taken following the opinions of eminent Croatian and international legal experts who share the view that Lex Agrokor is deviating from all the positive legal solutions that should be undertaken by member states of the European Union.

After Ivica Todorić announced yesterday that he has filed no less than a lawsuit against Croatia to the European Commission owing to what he believes to be an ”unconstitutional” Lex Agrokor, today he published the full text of the lawsuit.

As previously mentioned, an obviously angry Todorić claims that legal steps are being taken by both Croatian and international legal experts who share the collective view that Lex Agrokor is unique in Europe, and that it deviates from all the positive legal solutions that should be undertaken by member states of the European Union.
