German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande and European Council President Donald Tusk are also invited to the Brdo-Brijuni conference
According to information released by the Office of the Croatian President on November 12, 2015, US Vice President Joe Biden will visit Zagreb later this month to participate in the summit of Southeast European leaders. His arrival marks a stronger involvement of the United States in dealing with regional problems and in bringing the region closer to the West.
During his stay Biden will attend the regional forum Brdo-Brijuni which will gather former Yugoslav countries and Albania. The US Vice-President is the highest US official to visit Croatia since Barack Obama took up office as President of the United States.
Other foreign leaders and dignitaries invited to the Zagreb conference include German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande and European Council President Donald Tusk.
