These are seven contracts for projects worth a total of more than 444 million euros for Dalmatia. Despite that being the entire sum, the grant for the second phase comes with a price tag of 305 million euros.

The contracts were signed between the mayors and the municipal companies from both Split-Dalmatia and Dubrovnik-Neretva counties.

Looking first and foremost at Split-Dalmatia County, this is the second phase of the agglomeration, and the funds will be used to allow the company Vodovoda i kanalizacije Split to complete the projects and thus improve the drainage and water supply across the county. The implementation of the project should achieve a level of 95 percent of the agglomeration’s population being connected to the public drainage and wastewater treatment system. With that, more than 4,000 new users will be connected to the public water supply system.

In the area of the Kaštela-Trogir agglomeration, 7.2,000 new users will be connected to the public water supply system, which will achieve a 100% connection level. 111.7,000 residents will be connected to the public drainage and treatment system, which is a connection rate of 98%, according to a report from tocka na i.

These projects with a massive 444 million euro price tag for Dalmatia are set to shake things up for residents spanning a wide area. The project entitled “The Development of Water and Communal Infrastructure – Dubrovnik”, 4.4,000 new users will be connected to the public drainage system. There, the connection rate will reach an impressive 92%. The level of treatment of collected wastewater in the agglomeration will also improve. Almost 1,000 new residents will be connected to the public water supply system, and a higher quality and safer water supply will be ensured for over 77,000 consumers.
