“With this decision, we’ve showed our strength, our fellowship, and expressed our identity.”

If you need supplies in the Ivankovo area, make sure you’re getting them in before Sunday!

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 1st of September, 2018, all the owners of shops and bakeries located in various areas under the jurisdiction of the Ivankovo municipality, including Ivankovo, Retkovci and Prkovci, have accepted a suggestion from the county officials and have therefore decided that they will not work on Sundays or on holidays starting on September the 2nd this year, as was reported by tportal.

“With this decision, we’ve demonstrated our strength, our fellowship, and expressed their identity, our credibility, especially our family values, and we’ve encouraged a sense of solidarity. A person’s need for Sunday rest and holidays is part of the people’s tradition when a celebration of thanksgiving to God and family life can be enjoyed by those to whom that’s important,” reads a statement by Marko Miličević of Vukovar-Srijem County.
