October 3, 2023 – A full Opus Arena awaits in Osijek on October 12, as Croatia-Turkey tickets sell out in just 8 minutes for the upcoming EURO 2024 qualifier.

Qualifications for the 2024 European Championship continue this month, and the next test for Croatia will be against Turkey on October 12 at Opus Arena in Osijek.

Ticket sales started today at 3:28 pm, and just eight minutes later, there were no tickets left.

“According to expectations, the interest in the Croatia – Turkey match exceeded the capacity of Opus Arena many times (which is 13,000 spectators for this match), and all available tickets were sold from 3:28 pm, when the sale started, to 3:36 pm.

Tickets for all four stands were on sale, with five percent of the capacity reserved for Turkey fans. Depending on the possibly unused (unpaid) and reserved tickets, a few more tickets may appear in the ticketing system in the coming days. In any case, we already know that a full stadium awaits us against Turkey.

As much as we are happy with such interest from the fans, the truth is that the capacity of Opus Arena is too small for everyone who wants to watch the Vatreni on this occasion. Therefore, the decision was made to allow the most loyal fans, 1,000 of them with the most matches in the last five years, to buy tickets in advance, and most of them used this right,” announced HNS.

With 10 points in Group D, Croatia and Turkey share first place. Three days after the match in Osijek, Croatia will face Wales.
