The new season of the Croatian First League has been announced!
As we say goodbye to our beloved clubs and cheer on our national teams in the World Cup, we do have some exciting Croatian club news to at least hold you over for the next month – the schedule for the upcoming Croatian First League season, reports Index.hr on June 12, 2018.
The very first game of the first round will be played on Friday, July 27, after the Croatian first league clubs have already fought their first European battles. Recall, Dinamo will fight in the Champions League, while Rijeka, Hajduk, and Osijek will fight in the Europa League.
The first round of the new season will already see a derby at City Garden between Osijek and Hajduk, first league debutant Gorica will visit Rijeka, and Dinamo will fight to defend their title against Rudeš at Maksimir.
