The 11th round of the Croatian First League was played from October 19 to 21, 2018.

After a two-week long break for national team duties, the Croatian First League returned on Friday for another eventful weekend of football. Some clubs used the break to regroup and refocus, while others played friendlies to stay in shape.

Dinamo’s Dominik Livaković had the busiest break, as he represented the Croatia national team as the first goalkeeper in their games against England and Jordan. Recall, former Hajduk goalkeeper Lovre Kalinić was out with an injury.

Without further do, here is everything you need to know about the 11th round of the Croatian First League.

Inter Zaprešić v. Rijeka (1:2)

Inter and Rijeka kicked off the 11th round at Stadion ŠRC Zaprešić on October 19, 2018.

Rijeka’s new coach Igor Bišćan made his debut with a win over the weekend. Rijeka’s Colak scored in the 11th minute for 0:1, and again in the 63rd minute for 0:2. Inter did come back in the 84th minute with a goal by Solomon for a final score of 1:2.

Slaven Belupo v. Gorica (0:1)

Belupo is currently in 6th place with 12 points, while Gorica is in 4th with 19.

Lokomotiva v. Hajduk (2:0)

Lokomotiva and Hajduk closed out the 11th round at Kranjčevićeva on October 21, 2018.

Lokomotiva took the lead already in the 24th minute with a goal by Drozdek, and another goal by Uzuni made it 2:0 for the Lokomotiva win.

Things are not looking good for Hajduk, especially now that playmaker Hamza Barry is out with an injury until the spring. A yellow card for Caktaš in this game also means he will miss the derby against Rijeka.
