Marijan Pušnik is no longer coach of Hajduk as the contract has been terminated by mutual agreement, announced today at a press conference by Sporting Director Mario Branco, reports Hajduk.hr.
“Mr. Pušnik did his job professionally, and much more than you might have seen in the results of the first team. He installed a lot with the results of other teams, junior teams…” claims Branco.
The now former coach of Hajduk came to the club in early June of this year and coached 26 official matches. Pušnik accomplished 16 wins, 5 draws and 5 losses.
“Thanks to all the collaborators, the working community, and the Torcida fans in particular. The contract was terminated mutually, we are parting on friendly terms, and I’ll always be a part of this whole story, and a Hajduk fan,” says Pušnik.
Until the appointment of a new coach for the team, Hajduk will now take on the coaching staff of Hajduk II.
Hajduk writes that they are grateful to Mr. Pušnik for all he has done for Hajduk, wishing him good luck, health and sporting success in the future.
