Just two weeks left before the big match at Poljud – have you sorted your accommodation yet?

We’re about two weeks away from the Scouser invasion in Split, and because we are a news portal that prides ourselves on being as accommodating as possible, we thought we’d bring you the best accommodation options available in Split at the time of your arrival.

One thing to keep in mind, amongst many, is that we are at the peak of our summer season. That being said, it is critically important not to sleep on booking your accommodation to ensure that you actually have a place to sleep while you’re in Split.

Because the match will be played at Poljud on August 24th, here’s a look at the best we could find in the center of Split (10-minute walk from the stadium) courtesy of Booking.com from August 23-25, 2017.

£0-£45/night: For those of you on a big budget, there are options. While most of your options will be hostels, you will be able to find a spot like the Split Garden Hostel for £87 for two nights. Cheaper options are available such as the Guest House Giovanni (£69/two nights) or the Guest House Al Pacino (£58/two nights) and Split, fortunately, does have plenty of hostels to choose from. If you are in a pinch, also check out hostelworld.com.

£45-£90/night: With this budget, your options do get better, but hostels still dominate this price market. The hostels, however, do get nicer and don’t particularly include sharing one of 16 beds in a room. Many of the hostels in this price range, including Downtown Hostel (£127/two nights) or Tchaikovsky Hostel (£95/two nights) have the option of two beds in a single room, with a private toilet! Apartment Ghetto, located just 100-meters from Diocletian’s Palace, will accommodate you in your own apartment (£163/two nights) and Villa Simoni, just 50-meters from Split’s harbor, offers a large double bed and room for 3 (£179/two nights). There are 171 options available at this price.

£90-£130/night: Consider your options far more open with this budget where you will be able to choose between apartments and luxury apartments. Split Inn Apartments not only offers family rooms, but they’ll even arrange transfers to and from the airport for you (£250/two nights). Apartment Lucac Manus can accommodate three guests for £185 for two nights or £150 for two guests for two nights and Contarini Luxury rooms give you the option to add breakfast in the mornings for an added cost (£240). There are 199 options available at this price.

£130-£180/night: Luxury rooms and apartments dominate this market, and you may even find some decent hotels. Hotel Bellevue, for example, is located in Split’s famous squares, Prokurative. A room with an extra large bed and a sofa bed will set you back £272 for two nights. At Spalato Luxury Rooms, just two-minutes away from our waterfront promenade, you can get a room with a double bed and breakfast for £299 for two nights. There are 121 options available at this price.

£180 + per night: And now, for the big players. If you are looking to enjoy a bit of luxury in Split before and after the football match, or if hotels are more your thing, there are many options for you. Jupiter Luxury Hotel, for example, which is located just near the Temple of Jupiter, is available for £428 for two people for two nights, with breakfast included. However, there is only one unit left at this price. Hotel Slavija, one of our favorite hotels in Split, has two single beds and one extra large bed available in their quarters, with breakfast included, for only £370 for two nights. Some of the most popular hotels in Split, such as the five-star Hotel Park and the Hotel Luxe have both already sold out for the dates available. There are 87 options available at this price.

Some of our favorites, if they have availability, are Antique Heritage Hotel and Vida Boutique Hotel, both also centrally located.

It is important to note that most of the places offered in each budget are over 95% reserved! What are you waiting for?
