Total Croatia News is delighted to introduce you to Slobodan Kadić, our exclusive photographer and journalist on the ground in Russia for this year’s World Cup.
Originally hailing from Croatia’s eastern region of Slavonia, Slobodan is an enthusiastic and animated photojournalist who has been with Total Croatia News from the very beginning. Currently a columnist and newspaper journalist for Glas Slavonija from Osijek as well, Slobodan is formerly a journalist of popular Croatian daily newspaper Večernji List. Furthermore, Slobodan’s established photography has seen him author several exhibitions throughout his celebrated career.
Slobodan was awarded by the Croatian Association of Sports Journalists for Work in Local Media (2006), has been recognized by the International Association of Tourism Journalists and Writers in Tourism FIJET (2015), and received the prestigious award of POVELJA F.E.S.T., the European Federation of Tourism Journalists from Rome in 2016, for his outstanding contribution of travel journalism following tourism development.
Better yet, Slobodan is no stranger to the streets of Moscow and called himself a resident of the city for several years where he spent time working and covering many themes from tourism, travel, gastronomy, and enology to sports – and primarily football.
Slobodan Kadić is one of the few officially accredited photojournalists in Russia for football’s biggest international spectacle, who will be supplying Total Croatia News with all things World Cup for the next month. Let the games begin!
