Valamar camps – who operate within the brand name “Camping Adriatic by Valamar” – have already lined up international awards in the new year…
Camping Resort Lanterna in Istria, Naturist Camping Solaris in Poreč, and Camping Resort Krk have been recognized with the highest awards by German automobile club ADAC and the Dutch ANWB, reports Poslovni.hr on January 18, 2017. The Croatian camps were chosen after teams from both clubs visited 2,000 camps throughout Europe.
The award ADAC SUPER Platz 2017 was given to Camping Resort Lanterna 4* and Camping Resort Krk 5*, while Camping Resort Lanterna 4*, Naturist Camping Solaris 3* and Camping Resort Krk 5* were all awarded with ANWB TOP 2017.
“This is great recognition for Camping Adriatic by Valamar camps and we’re pleased to have three of our camps win awards, and this is after the inspectors of both teams visited about 2,000 camps throughout Europe,” said Davor Brenko, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Valamar riviera, who added that in the coming period they will continue with additional investments to boost the camping offer.
“For example, guests at the Camping Resort Lanterna will welcome a newly renovated central square with various shops, a bakery, a supermarket, two new themed restaurants (Tuna Bay Grill and restaurant Grano Duro) and new premium mobile home settlements including Happy Dog Premium Village – the first settlement to be fully customized for pets. In addition, the family water park will be even bigger and more fun, and will include three new water slides, two new pools, and heating across all of the swimming pools.
The island of Krk this year will be enriched with additional amenities and services for guests with camping Zablaće and Ježevac. Investments will be carried out in other camps on the island of Krk, Istria and Dubrovnik by improving the quality of camping accommodation, beach offers and catering facilities,” concludes Davor Brenko.
