The City of Samobor takes on technological trends.

Namely, a virtual walk through old Samobor and the still undiscovered Žumberak is the latest in a series of this year’s innovative projects by the Samobor Tourist Board, reports HRTurizam on November 30, 2017.
This new technology allows users to take a virtual walk through Samobor and Žumberak in 360 degrees, representing a contemporary and innovative visual view of the city and its surroundings which enables the user to interact by navigating them through the natural, historical and cultural sights of Samobor. This way, tourists and guests are offered a new and unique experience of seeing the city and its attractions, providing them with a realistic and digital approach through interaction and experience at an entirely new level.
“The virtual walk is a step forward in the promotion of our city. It offers significant opportunities to attract new guests, but also for the elderly who can now walk from their living room to our most interesting locations and revive the beautiful memories that make it worthwhile to come back here,” said the Samobor Tourist Board.
The virtual walk is adapted to use on all devices connected to the Internet, without the need for additional applications or programs to be installed.
