Passengers can use Monarch Airlines to fly direct between Zagreb and Gatwick in London three times a week and twice a week to Manchester

The leading Great Britain airline and tourism company Monarch is set to begin flights from Zagreb on April 28 direct to London, while a day later the direct service to Manchester will start. Exactly a month after the new Zagreb airport Franjo Tuđman opened, a new company has arrived to connect Croatia and Great Britain at very accessible prices, Dnevnik.hr reported on April 24, 2017.

“We are extremely satisfied with year-round flights to and from Zagreb. Monarch is the only company with direct flights from Zagreb to Manchester and Gatwick in London. Both destinations have an excellent offer for a weekend getaway. We hope residents of Zagreb and beyond will recognise our high level of service complete with an excellent flight schedule and low prices,” said David Page, Monarch Communications Director.

A return ticket with taxes included can be found starting from 95 euro. London flights will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and those to Manchester on Saturday and Monday. The aircraft used will be Airbus 321.

Monarch was declared the most punctual low-budget airline in 2016 according to OAG Punctuality League and was also awarded the “Gold Trusted Service” award in February of 2017 from Feefo, an independent platform for rating and reviews.

Monarch has been connecting Dubrovnik to Birmingham and London directly since 2012, from May to end of October. The Monarch flight between Birmingham and Split will begin on June 25 on Tuesdays and Saturdays until the end of September.
