UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres Arrives in Split

An incredibly busy weekend in Split greets the UN Secretary General.

As Slobodna Dalmacija reports on the 29th of July, 2017, roughly 30,000 passengers have passed through Resnik and 100 aircraft have taken off and landed at Split Airport.

In addition to regular commercial flights arriving at Split Airport, one special guest among them was the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, who arrived in Split with his family, from where he would head to the central Dalmatian islands for a relaxing break.

Another VIP traveller, Princess Fariha of Kuwait, is expected in just a few days.
