Bell ringers are best known carnival magic patrollers in Croatia, most of the, from the Kastav area above the port city of Rijeka.

Along with Halubaj bell ringers (Marčelji and Viškovo), there are also groups in Bregi, Brgudi, Mučići, Muni, Rukavac, Zamet, Zvoenći and Žejani.

The western bell ringers have multiple smaller bells around their waist, their face is uncovered and on their head is a hat with greenery and paper colourful flowers. Eastern bell ringers wear large masks and one large bell.
