Photo of the Day: Snow in Belec

The parish church of Our Lady of the Snow is one of the finest examples of baroque art in northern Croatia. The Belec village is located within Zlatar Town, north of Zagreb.

The current church was first mentioned in 1676 as a chapel, only to be remodelled and expanded from its original gothic style by various sculptors and woodworking masters.
