Photo of the Day: Swan Spring

 

 

The coming of the spring is melting snow and ice in the Kopački Rit Nature Park in the very north-east of Slavonia region. Soon the swan lake will shed its winter garment and welcome migrating birds to an area declared an Important Bird Area by BirdLife International. The Park is home to 293 bird species, 78 percent of all of Croatia’s ornitology fauna, definitely a bird watchers dream.
