It is a rather demanding trail, as nobody has passed it for a long time. “Old clothes” and good shoes are needed. We will start from the south side of the bay Smrska with a gentle slope towards Bogomolje, through an interesting gorge, where we will visit a small cave on the left side of the road. There are two beautiful caves on the right side, but due to the rough and impassable terrain (and again, depending on the participants), we do not plan to visit them.
At the end of the climb, we will come to the beautiful view of the canyon and the bay, as well as the entire south side up to Korčula. We will reach the family farm of Dragoslav Huljić in Bogomolje by an old path, where lunch and some rest are planned.
After lunch we plan to visit the north side. Through a gentle slope, through olive groves, we will reach a beautiful lookout, from where you can see Sućuraj, Makarska, Brač and the central part of the island, as well as the entire south side.
We plan to return at about 16.00-17.00 and reach Hvar at around 18.00. It will be a really good trip into the nature within the motto “Let´s Get to Know our Hvar”. We look forward to your participation!!
Oh, I would like to go. These views are absolutely amazing. However, my almost 5 year old is too small for this. I will have to wait for some other trail, that is less demanding and equally beautiful. Wish you all a great sunny day!!
