A full, dense and complex wine is the semi-sweet late harvest 2012 Merlot by Vlado Krauthaker from Kutjevo. Wine Stars reviewers gave it five stars and wine of the week title. A wine with very good structure, fine scent of dry fruits and lingering taste costs 169.50 kunas in the winery.
Three stars went to the sparkling wine Three Stars Brut by the Plešivica family Jagunić. It is fresh, harmonious and merry, its taste lingers quite long, and besides as an aperitif, it goes well with lighter dishes, such as cooked white fish. A bottle costs 85 kunas in the winery.
Competing were also Sauvignon 2016 with a gold label by the Slovenian winery Jeruzalem near Ormož, with a price of 80 kuna, as well as Lučica Riserva 2015 by Alen Bibich from Plastovo near Skradin, for a price of 230 kunas per bottle in the winery.
