Tenuta S. Anna
Tenuta S. Anna was founded in the 1960s in the Veneto region, in the very heart of DOC Lison Pramaggiore, where the tradition of winemaking remained from Roman times. Rich heritage and modern technology are a combination for a great prosecco. Another choice greatly affected the quality of Tenuta S.Anna wines and prosecco, being the orientation and focus on only several sorts of grapes they considered to be best for the territory.
Tenuta S.Anna vineyards stretch for 140 acres and produce around 1.9 million bottles each year under a watchful eye of enologist Riccardo Cotarello.
Torre Rosazza
The territory of Torre Rosazza is part of Colli Orientali Friuli DOCG micro zone known in the past more for olives than vines. In the first years fo the past century, local agricultural experts agreed that this territory is ideal exactly for vines and devoted themselves to it completely.
The Torre Rosazza winery was founded in the beginning of the 1970s. Today it stretches over 110 acres, 90 of which is covered in vineyards with a yearly output of 290 000 bottles. Excellent climate, vine output control, removal of leaves to all for better sun exposure and crafty hands of enologist Luca Zuccarello are surely a recipe for excellent wines.
AGAVA Restaurant, Zagreb
You will be delighted by this classic Italian restaurant, full of classy dark tones and discrete lighting. A wonderful, somewhat unique view of Tkalčićeva street is definitely one of its specifics. The place – slightly hidden, humble and yet special… The restaurant was opened in 2005 by
Belizar Miloš (co-owner) and Darko Lugarić (finest sommelier in continental Croatia in 2014), responsible for many Mediterranean and other delicacies.
The restaurant grew together with its guests: slowly and coherently it became one of TripAdvisor’s Top 10 in Zagreb.
“We try to give it a soul, try to be the ture charm of this city; unobtrusive, but present. It’s hard to avoid being trendy these days without being obsolete”. We simply try to be our own – build up the place we humbly think is made just right. A place to truly relax without watching who’s sitting at which table but enjoy the day/evening and delicacies with dear friends. We have no time keepers, no stress, just a small world more like an Umbria trattoria than a midtown metropolis restaurant. This was our guiding light”, say Belizar and Darko, and your task is to visit Tkalčićeva 39 and discover this small gastro shelter.
