Skye & Ross from Morcheeba Shot their Newest Music Video ‘Light of Gold’ in Croatia

Sky & Ross from Morcheeba, who played in Šibenik in July for one of the top concerts of 2016, have shot their latest music video ‘Light of Gold’ in Croatia.

Remember when world renown British group Morcheeba took the stage at St. Michael’s Fortress in Šibenik in July? What you may not have known was that in addition to their performance in Šibenik, Skye & Ross from Morcheeba used the city of Šibenik as the perfect background to shoot their newest music video ‘Light of Gold’.

 

‘Light of Gold’ was shot entirely in Šibenik in various locations throughout the city, including scenes from the fortress concert itself.

 

The extras and main stars of the music video are Šibenik locals (and couple) Sara and Danijel. The two were cast in the video after director Tom Merilion posted a call on social media for young couples who wished to be extras in the video.

 

The music video for ‘Light of Gold’ was released on August 30, 2016 as an announcement for Skye & Ross’ new album, which is due out tomorrow, September 2.
