We all love H&M and Zara, but don’t you sometimes feel that everyone looks exactly the same?
This is where retro clothes from your moms and grandmas come in handy, if you’re lucky enough to have parents who don’t throw things away (like mine mostly does).
Second hand vintage shops have been all the rage in recent years, and I stopped by one of them – Buried Clothes on Saturday and entered a world of ties, purses, shoes and colourful clothes that you really can’t find anywhere else anymore.
Buried Clothes is a vintage online boutique that specializes in finding unique vintage and retro pieces and bringing them back to life. It was founded by two vintage enthusiasts, Ana Guzmić and Tena Hasanfendić, in 2011. They feel that unearthing hidden vintage treasures from attics and drawers brings a fresh new dose of diversity to our fashion scene, which I agree with completely.
You can find some great items for yourself on their Facebook page here or their blog here and check out some photos from Saturday below.
