There is another way to get from Split to Dubrovnik from today!
Kapetan Luka’s newest fast boat service from Split to Dubrovnik begins today, reports Slobodna Dalmacija on June 12, 2017.
From June 12, 2017, travelers will be able to use the the new line between Split and Dubrovnik, with two new ports on the route including Bol on Brač and Makarska.
While the people of Dubrovnik, Split, and the Islanders are already familiar with Kapetan Luka’s “Krilo Star” ship, this new high-speed “Krilo Eclipse” ship is modern trimaran sailboat that has a maximum speed of 40 knots and a capacity of 500 passengers.
This season, the trimaran “Krilo Eclipse” will set sail every day from Split – Bol – Makarska – Korčula – Sobra – Dubrovnik and return, until September 17, 2017. The journey between Split and Dubrovnik should take around 4 hours and 30 minutes, with departures from Split at 7:30 in the morning and from Dubrovnik at 16:00 in the afternoon.
