ZAGREB, April 25, 2018 – The average net monthly salary paid in Croatia for February 2018 was 6,128 kuna, the National Bureau of Statistics (DZS) said on Wednesday.
Compared with January 2018, this was a decrease of 0.9% in real terms. Compared with February 2017, the average net monthly salary rose by 3.2% in real terms.
The median net salary for February 2018 was 4,975 kuna, which means that half the workforce had a lower salary than that amount.
The Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) said in a comment on the DZS report it expected salaries in 2018 to continue to grow.
