Liam Gallagher Denies Claims, Responds to Hajduk: “I’ll See You in Court”

March 1, 2019 – Liam Gallagher, known best as the frontman of Oasis, has denied claims that his clothing label Pretty Green copied the badge of Hajduk Split. 

Anyone who has once loved, still loves, or belts out “Wonderwall” at a packed pub, is familiar with Liam Gallagher. The frontman of the group Oasis, which split up back in 2009, is known today for his forever feud with brother Noel, his outrageous comments on Twitter and interviews, his live shows, and his clothing label Pretty Green. 

You might recall that on February 20, 2019, TCN drew a comparison between the latest collection in Liam’s clothing label and the badge of Hajduk Split. Namely, Pretty Green recently released two T-shirts and a waxed cotton jacket which feature a crest bearing an uncanny resemblance to that of Hajduk Split. 

Over the last week, Croatian and English media reports have gone wild about the claims, which did not go unnoticed at Poljud either. Hajduk revealed that they would possibly pursue legal action to solve the matter.

“Hajduk did not give permission for the use of our brand to Gallagher’s fashion line. Our lawyers will examine the case,” writes Sports Bible. 

While the singer has been relatively quiet since the news hit, apart from a few “Dya want a slap?” Tweets to his fans about the allegations, Gallagher has finally ‘properly’ responded, in the most Liam Gallagher way he knows how.

You might need a translation of that Tweet, we know. In layman’s terms, Gallagher claims the badge is taken from a Mod scooter rally, and because of that, he’ll see Hajduk in court. 

A rather interesting twist to the story lies in the fact that Gallagher is a massive Manchester City fan, a club that recently bought 18-year-old Ante Palaversa from Hajduk.
