On Friday, May 26th, the towns of Sinj, Trilj and Vrlika hosted bloggers and journalists from the Czech Republic and representatives of Croatia Airlines in the Czech Republic and Croatia.
The Croatian Tourist Board in the Czech Republic, the Central Office of the Croatian National Tourist Board, the Tourist Board of Split – Dalmatia County and the Tourist Boards of Vrlika, Sinj and Trilj, organized a study tour with bloggers, journalists, and representatives of Croatia Airlines.
The aim of the study tour was to familiarize the group with the undiscovered parts of Dalmatia – giving them a wonderful experience to bring back to their readers.
In Sinj, the bloggers and journalists visited the cultural and historical sights including the Museum of Sinj Alka led by director Boris Filipovic-Grčić and the Kamičak fortress where they toured the inside of the clock tower.
Before arriving in Sinj, the group visited the town of Vrlika where they toured the fort Prozor, church Spasa, the source of the Cetina river, and Balečki and Pločasti bridge.
In the late afternoon, the group made their way to Trilj and toured the Grab mills.
For the remainder of the study tour, the bloggers and journalists visited Šolta and the various filming locations for the series Game of Thrones.
The bloggers on the trip included Lucie Radova (Lucky cesta) and Veronika Hradilikova (Travelgeekery).
The journalists in the group included Miroslav Srdikove from magazine Woman and life which has 85,000 readers and Peter Šroubkove Pohl from the lifestyle magazine Marianne that has 70,000 readers.
Lucie Pinkava represented Croatia Airlines in the Czech Republic, and Domagoj Dorotića represented Croatia Airlines in Croatia.
The bloggers and journalists arrived accompanied by Jelena Bilic, director of the Croatian National Tourist Board in the Czech Republic.
