“Dani Bikle – Biklijadu in Vrgorac” has grown into one of the largest and most cheerful folk ethno-gastronomic festivals in the region. This year the event will take place on Saturday, October 1.

For the 17th anuual “Days of Bikla” (Dani Bikle) in Vrgorac, a folk festival is created from authentic customs and traditions of the town. The traditional “bikla” drink of Vrgorac, for instance, is a mixture of wine and goat’s milk – also popular in the traditions of islands Brač and Hvar.

“Days of Bikla” happens every October and has already established itself as a recognizable tourist attraction in the Dalmatian Hinterland.

The “Biklijada” is a traditional event that nourishes and revives the soul, with its rich selection of fair and local products and handicrafts, folklore and a rich musical program.

Preparations are already under way for the event, and the Tourist Board of Vrgorac invites all interested producers, OPG’s, associations and others who want to enrich their offer at the fair to report to the Tourist Board Office TZ GV, call by phone at 021 / 675-110, or email [email protected].

Registration is open until 23.09.2016, or until all places are filled.

The Tourist Board of Vrgorac thrives to make the town even richer and more attractive to locals as well as guests, asking you to help spread the word and join the fun!
