Beach in Lapad Bay Again Open for Public!

The beach in Lapad bay in Dubrovnik has been undergoing a makeover for quite some time, and now you can finally enjoy the renovated facilities.

Even though the official opening ceremony hasn’t yet been held, starting from the middle of this week, the first beachgoers have been flocking to Lapad. The beach is equipped with 200 new lounge chairs and two showers; to keep the youngest visitors entertained, there’s also a new playground for kids. When you get thirsty after a whole day of swimming and catching some sun, there’s a cocktail bar waiting for you, along with a restaurant, bistro and a pastry shop.

Renovation work began in July last year, and the total investment was worth 90 million kuna.
