A New McDonald’s Arrives in Split

Daniela Rogulj

Split has yet another McDonald’s restaurant, making that 27 currently in Croatia.

The new building at Poljička 71 is based on a ‘made for you’ concept, and is equipped with the latest technologies such as kiosks for self-service and a digital “magic table” table where children can play interactive games.

The self-service kiosk allows guests to automatically choose what they want, pay with a card and obtain an account and order number. The order number then follows on the screen with your order magically appearing onto the pick up counter. This self-service kiosk is part of the new equipment in ‘made for you’ restaurants, with McDonald’s hoping to introduce this concept in more restaurants over the next 3 years.

Pavel Pavlicek, director of McDonald’s Croatia, has said that self-service kiosks will further facilitate the ordering process for all Mcdonald’s customers, offering them a superbly prepared product, which will be in the hands of the buyer in record time. Because of this, customers will receive an even better and fresher product.

As if we needed yet another favorite fast food place in Split, bring on the Big Macs!
