On Wednesday June 1, the Media Art/Department of Film and Video/Arts Academy from the University of Split (UMAS) will be hosting their annual exhibition MU / FIV.
In its fifth edition this year, the annual MU / FIV presents works of graduate and undergraduate students from the program of the Department of Film and Video. The works that will be featured at this exhibition are all student projects, all in the field of media and art. The courses were carried out by Ph. D. of Art. Toni Mestrovic and assistant Gildo Bavčević from the Department of Film and Video.
This exhibition is designed to help students articulate and present their work through a gallery setting in order to face real life instances such as the reality of exposure, copyright work in public spaces, and to experience the critical eyes of the public. Students have used multimedia works such as video-sound installation, video holograms, closed circuit video and sculptural installation media.
Students presenting in the exhibition from the Department of Film and Video, UMAS (within the summer semester 2015/2016 & academic year): Tonci Bakotin, Lucia Bosančić, Michael Jermilova, Renata Nobilo, Hrvoje Pelicarić, Dino Peric, Neven Pogutz, Bruna Radelja, Paula Rosan Peter Skračić, Marko Visnjic, under the supervision of professor Toni Mestrovic and assistant Gilda Bavčević.
Opening night of the exhibition is this Wednesday, June 1 beginning at 20h.
Exhibition will be held at the Multimedia Cultural Center (MKC – Youth) located on Savska bb in Split.
Opening hours of the exhibition are every day 18h-22h. Admission is free.
Exhibition runs from 1.6 – 5.6.
