Incredible recognition for Zinfandel Food and Wine Bar!
The World of Fine Wine World’s Best List sound sounds like something you’d want to be a part of, especially if you’re an establishment that specializes in wine. You could imagine, then, just how incredible an honor this would be for a food and wine bar in Split.
Zinfandel Food and Wine Bar has just been awarded the One-Star Award for the World’s Best Wine List for 2017! The One-Star Award recognizes that the establishment has a good wine list in relation to the general criteria.
So, how is the competition judged?
From the World of Fine Wine website, the wine lists are judged by:
“Breadth, depth, interest, quality, and value of the wine selection (relative to the nature and size of the list and any specialism); the clarity of the organization and presentation; the accuracy and completeness of the information for each entry on the list, including origin, producer, wine, vintage, price, and format or serving size; the suitability of the selection in terms of the cuisine and the establishment.”
The World of Fine Wine World’s Best Wine Lists began back in 2014. Already a driving force in the international food and wine industry, last year’s competition evaluated over 4,500 wine lists and awarded 800 establishments with one, two, or three stars.
This year’s competition, which has been considered the best yet, named 997 establishments winners of one, two, and three-star awards.
