15:25: Detailed instructions and rules for crossing the border have been published.

14:00: National Civil Protection Headquarters press:

There are currently 2187 officially confirmed Croatia COVID-19 cases and 11 new cases since yesterday afternoon. There have been three fatalities since yesterday afternoon, bringing the total to 90. 1764 patients have recovered.

“In the past 24 hours, we have 11 newly diagnosed patients, a total of 2187. In the last 24 hours, 668 were tested, the percentage of positive is 4.87. Unfortunately, since yesterday, three patients died. There are 13 people on ventilators. 36 have recovered since yesterday,” said Health Minister Vili Beros.

“A decision has been made on the necessary epidemiological measure on Brac – it refers to the ban on movement, the ban on gatherings … The measures from before April 27 are being applied,” said Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic.

As of tomorrow, gatherings of 40 people will be allowed.

Gyms, fitness and sports centers open on May 13. The pools open from May 18.

E-passes are eliminated, except on Brač. “In the case of an epidemiological assessment, this can be activated again,” Bozinovic said.

Intercity passenger traffic is being established, bus and train stations are being opened.

“With all these decisions, we are entering a new phase, a lot is being reactivated. This is a new normal, different from the normal we are used to,” said Bozinovic.

About crossing borders

“Yesterday’s decision enabled Croatian citizens to leave and enter the territory of the Republic and Croatia, in accordance with the instructions of the Croatian Institute of Public Health,” Bozinovic said.

He said that this is primarily in the sense that the economy would be reactivated and that business people could come to Croatia. Arrival is also possible for necessary personal reasons. Bozinovic said that these personal reasons could be different occasions, but primarily attending funerals and the like.

“HZJZ measures are strict. If necessary, border tests can be introduced,” Bozinovic said.

“Shopping malls are open on Sundays,” Bozinovic said when asked if shopping malls would be able to operate.

When asked by a journalist why everything is allowed on Sundays and not shops, Capak said that on Sundays you can drink coffee in a cafe or go to a restaurant for lunch.

“I think it’s good that you can drink coffee on Sundays. We extended the opening hours of stores to 24 hours, we wanted to take away part of the balance. We decided it was Sunday. That we made a good decision is proven by the fact that retailers are now asking for Sunday. We wanted to disable mobility. For cafes and restaurants, we think it’s not big mobility, that it’s not a large number of people doing it on Sundays.”

Beros said that the introduction of border testing is not being considered yet.

Capak says that people entering Croatia will no longer have to self-isolate, but that, in accordance with the instructions of the HZJZ, they should avoid more contacts.

Asked whether the ban on working on Sundays would be lifted until the elections, Bozinovic said he did not know when the elections would take place.

UPDATES from May 9, 2020

16:45: The decision on special measures on Brač has been announced. More on Index

16:11: HZJZ has published detailed instructions for going to shopping centers. More on Index

14:00: National Civil Protection HQ:

At the beginning, Minister Beroš announced the latest figures. Since yesterday, we have 15 new cases. A total of 2176.

One patient died at the Osijek Clinical Hospital.

Bozinovic announced two decisions that will take effect today. “As of today, a ban on leaving the place of residence on Brač is being introduced for 14 days. The second decision – Croatian citizens are allowed to enter and go abroad in compliance with the instructions,” Beroš said.

“We are entering the third phase and tomorrow we will announce all decisions related to that. We will implement everything that the government concluded at the session, and intensive talks are taking place with stakeholders that were not foreseen in that decision,” Bozinovic added. “We are talking to the Ministry of Culture, we have made recommendations for the culture and art sector, and they are related to holding cultural events,” Bozinovic said. He added that the instructions will be prescribed for concerts, but also for filming and music content. “Rehearsals will be able to start on Monday, and cinemas, theaters and concerts will probably start on May 18. On Monday, bookmakers will also be able to work,” Bozinovic said.

About serology research and the opening of shopping centers

“We have prepared recommendations for the prevention of infection in shopping malls. They will be published very soon, they are ready. The last proofreading of the text is being done.

From what I can say, there will be no special requirements. Inside are shops for which we have already prescribed rules, catering facilities for which we have also prescribed rules, the only new thing is that all places for rest in the centers will be removed for the reason that people do not gather there, and catering facilities will be able to determine how many people they can receive.

What is new is that we have limited the number of visitors and that is 15 customers per 100 square meters of net area of stores located in the shopping center. The centers will have to control the number of people who came in and out of the center so that it would not be too crowded,” said Krunoslav Capak.

About Brac

“Yesterday, no swabs were taken, epidemiological anamnesis was taken. Today we will take more swabs, so we will see how many will be positive. 54 contacts, that’s a large number. They didn’t pay attention to what we were talking about,” Capak said.

“Another problem has arisen, and that is Slavonski Brod. We have 5 new patients, it was learned that there are more people who came from Sweden and have symptoms. Swabs have been taken, we will know the situation by the evening,” Capak added.

He said that complete quarantine had not been introduced on Brač, but a strict measure with passes had been introduced. “People won’t be allowed to go from place to place or from the island without a pass,” Capak said.

About a non-working Monday

HUP has sent a request asking for a non-working Sunday to become a non-working Monday. “I haven’t heard of it,” Bozinovic said.

Bozinovic announced that a decision on the abolition of passes would be made tomorrow. “We are going in that direction and we hope that something will not surprise us by tomorrow. The new rule is valid for Brac for another 14 days,” he said.

13:37: To date, there are no new patients in Sisak-Moslavina County and only three patients suffering from COVID-19, while the rest have recovered.

13:35: According to currently available data in Dubrovnik-Neretva County, no new cases of the coronavirus infection have been recorded in the last 24 hours.

The remaining findings from Thursday are negative, and of the 105 samples taken on Friday, 44 were processed and there are no new positives among them, and the results of the remaining swabs will be known after the analysis is completed.

A total of 118 were infected, 65 cured and 8 died. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,265 samples have been sent to Zagreb for analysis.

13:23: Even today, in the last 24 hours, there are no newly infected people in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County for the 18th day in a row.

13:19: Numerous tests are being performed on Brač, so it will be known by the end of the day how many new patients there are.

“Four epidemiologists have been sent, and 100 swabs will be made during the day. We could have data during the evening, for now, it is too early to say how many new cases there will be,” Luka Brcic, president of the Civil Protection Headquarters on the island of Brac, told HRT.

“Our intention is to check as many contacts as possible, we called on people not to hide their contacts, we want to get to all contacts as soon as possible because that is the only way to prevent the spread of coronavirus on Brac,” he added.

He also pointed out that measures would be tightened, that passes would be issued to go from place to place.

“Passes to the mainland have been introduced, we have restrictions on gatherings. The measures that were in the initial phase are now being returned. This is not repression but a call for everyone to act responsibly. For now, there is no need for quarantine, but contact research procedures are important. We will see how long the measures will last,” he said.

13:05: In the last 24 hours in Varaždin County, there have been no changes in terms of the number of cases, nor in terms of the number of people who have recovered.

The total number of patients so far in Varaždin County is 47 people, and a total of 39 people have recovered so far, which is 83%.

12:30: There are no new cases in Osijek-Baranja

“In the laboratory of the Clinical Hospital Center Osijek, 169 samples were tested for the coronavirus yesterday and all of them were negative!

Particularly good news is that among the analyzed samples there are five people whose preliminary findings were positive (which we informed the public yesterday and stated that there were six new cases that day, and the total number since the beginning of the pandemic 136) and then KBC Osijek and the Institute of Public Health OBŽ initiated comprehensive prescribed protocols for positive findings of patients and their contacts. Among other things, on the order of the epidemiological service and their suspicion of disagreement between the epidemiological and anamnestic picture, since these people were not in contact with positive people or traveled abroad, double control laboratory findings are performed, and there is a real possibility that these five people are not positive for coronavirus and the total number of infected would return to 131,” the headquarters said.

12:25: In Koprivnica-Križevci County, there are two new cases of COVID-19, and it is a resident and an employee of the Home for the Elderly and the Infirm in Koprivnica, contacts of previously positive people for the coronavirus.

12:15: The Civil Protection Headquarters of the City of Zagreb reported that there are no new cases in Zagreb for the third day.

11:46: The Civil Protection Headquarters of Brod-Posavina County reported that in the last 24 hours, 5 people were infected in the county, and it is a group of workers who came from abroad.

Let us remind you that a new case was confirmed in Brod-Posavina County yesterday, and it is about the worker Đuro Đaković Montaža who returned from Sweden.

Several workers returned with him, and some of them were confirmed infected at the headquarters today.

The total number of recoveries is 99, and the current number of active cases of coronavirus infection in the county is 39. In the past 24 hours, 30 samples were tested, of which 25 were negative, while the results of 5 are still pending. A total of 2,033 samples have been tested so far. There are currently 34 people in home self-isolation.

11:16: According to the report of Split-Dalmatia County, out of 194 processed tests from the area of Split-Dalmatia County, there are two new cases. One health worker and one non-health worker of a private home for the elderly and infirm. They have been in self-isolation for 14 days and were tested after 14 days. They are not in contact with either the staff or the users of the home.

So far, a total of 374 people have been cured in Split-Dalmatia County.

53 people are hospitalized. 140 health professionals are in self-isolation. 7 people are on a ventilator – 4 from the Split-Dalmatia County and 3 from the Šibenik-Knin County. 9 people are in the quarantine of the Hotel Zagreb in Duilovo.

10:48: Vukovar-Srijem County is without new cases of COVID-19 for the eleventh day, so there are still a total of 40 patients. In the past 24 hours, 5 people were cured, which makes a total of 33 cured in the county.

10:32: Nikola Martinić Dragan, head of the Brač headquarters, revealed the current situation on the island.

“We have no new information on the number of infected, no new tests have been conducted yet, so we are still at 22 infected. The number of swabs we will take will be significantly higher than in the usual procedure because it is a very large number of contacts. We will try to test it all. We will bring the situation under control as soon as possible. We expect the arrival of a mobile COVID clinic that will take swabs on the island, mostly in Nerezisce and Supetar. Our epidemiologist Dr. Seric will receive reinforcements from epidemiologists in Split to isolate all contacts as soon as possible,” Martinic told Dragan Dnevnik.hr

On Brač, a patient who returned from the hospital became a source of the coronavirus spread. He was visited by numerous neighbors, friends and relatives, and of those 37 who were in contact with him, 22 were positive for the virus.

“The patient who returned from KBC Split is positive. He was transferred from the Home for the Elderly to Split, and whether he is a zero patient or not will be determined by epidemiologists. It is important that there is a strong link between other infected and infected gentlemen,” said Nikola Martinic Dragan.

08:00: Flights to Croatia Post-Corona: Overview with Max Oldorf, COO of ch-aviation.

07:46: As N1 TV reporter Hari Kočić announced on his Twitter profile, the residents of Brač are angry because they adhered to all measures, and now they will be closed again.

He filmed a full ferry leaving the island and added that not everyone was able to land on it.

7:40: The director of the Clinic for Infectious Diseases “Dr. Fran Mihaljević” Alemka Markotić spoke to RTL about coronavirus on Brač.

She says it’s nice that individuals went to visit the patient, but that this isn’t exactly the time for it.

“Maybe it’s better to call, and only those who urgently need help should be around him,” Markotic said.

07:35: The director of the Croatian Institute of Public Health, Krunoslav Capak, spoke on Nova TV about the coronavirus outbreak on Brač.

“People thought they were safe and because of that they carelessly came to visit and were in contact with that person, so we have 22 positive people on Brač. This is a warning to all of us, that such a situation can happen very quickly if we are not careful enough and do not respect measures that we recommend all the time, ”says Capak.

“A patient is most likely infected in the hospital, if he is that zero patient. Because he was in the hospital from the 11th to the 17th and after that he was discharged and most likely there was in contact with someone who is also, most likely, asymptomatically infected so it was not known that he was positive and took the virus with him to Brač “, he explained.

He states that the patient came from the hospital to Brač, and if he had stayed in the hospital, the virus could have remained in the hospital. In addition to 22 cases, new swabs were taken.

“37 swabs were taken yesterday from all contacts that were identified and 22 of them were positive, three swabs were ‘plus-minus’, which means that the tests must be repeated, their results will be known late tonight,” he explained.

07:30: “We know the virus is among us and uses every opportunity to spread. So we have to be careful. Bracani allowed the virus to spread. The way a hospital patient became infected after 20 days is unknown. It is possible that he is a zero patient Three epidemiologists are already on Brac, and another team is coming,” Health Minister Vili Beros told HTV’s Dnevnik.

“We did not propose quarantine, but everyone should be in their place, and those who work will be able to work only under strict control. We also proposed the return of measures related to funerals and weddings, closure of playgrounds and everything else that was in force in Croatia until April 27,” said Zeljka Karin.

“The total number of patients so far has remained at 47 people, and 39 people have recovered, or 83 percent. Five more people are being treated at the Varaždin General Hospital, and three people from our area are being treated at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases’ Dr. Fran Mihaljević ‘in Zagreb “, said Vugrin at the conference held in front of the triage tent at the Varaždin General Hospital.

At the beginning, Božinović also expressed the condolences to the family of the deceased pilots and congratulated the Croatian Red Cross on the World Red Cross Day.

“In the past 24 hours, we have 36 newly diagnosed patients in Croatia. The total percentage of findings yesterday was 4.98.

184 were hospitalized. 21 people were discharged from hospitals. A total of 1689 recovered.

Beros confirmed that 22 of the 36 newly infected are from Brac.

“We have to adhere to the measures, one wrong step is enough. I urge my islanders to adhere to the measures as well, it prevents the virus.”

Capak: This shows that the situation can change overnight, but this is not due to the easing of measures

“This number of 36 is proof that everything can change overnight. We had single-digit numbers for days, today we have 36. This is not about the consequences of easing measures, there are three epidemiologists and the director of the Split-Dalmatia County Public Health Institute on Brac. As things stand now, this is a patient who returned from the hospital in Split, who was visited by friends and relatives. We have two newly infected people in Dubrovnik,” said the head of the Croatian Institute of Public Health, Krunoslav Capak.

“After the press conference, it has already been agreed that two HZJZ epidemiologists will go to Split tomorrow for help, the epidemiological situation is simply like that,” Capak said, adding that it has yet to be decided what measures will be taken.

“Based on the information we have, what happened in the nursing home in Split has long since been resolved. As for the new events, we have no information yet whether there are elements of omission and guilt. The fact is that the Split-Dalmatia County has the most infected in Croatia, but it is the second-largest area after Zagreb, there is nothing strange in that number,” said Capak.

Beroš: The potential zero patient from Brač is allegedly negative

“It is alleged that this potential zero patient who returned from the Split hospital was tested yesterday. He was in the hospital from April 11 and 17. He is allegedly negative for the coronavirus, but the findings are still to be seen. If there were not so many visits, this would happen. We have to be careful how we behave,” Beros said.

Journalists asked if they were considering quarantining Brac.

“It remains to be seen whether communication and virus transmission can be interrupted. Only when we see this will we be able to assess whether Brac should be quarantined. If contact between places can be interrupted, then we will definitely opt for quarantine,” Capak replied.

Minister Bedeković explains the new measures of the social welfare system.

“All employees in the health care system have changed their practice and applied the recommended measures. The new measures relate to homes, the availability of extra-institutional institutions and social care centers. From May 11, all home users will be allowed to have their families deliver groceries and things, with stacks of measures. It will be possible to provide physical therapy. From the 11th, will be able to visit children in homes. It will be allowed to stay outdoors. Users will still be admitted to emergency accommodation. From May 18 will be allowed to receive new users, with strict measures, and a visit to home users, with strict measures. We are moving to work in four-day shifts,” said Bedeković, adding that all other epidemiological measures remain in force, and that if necessary, the measures will be reintroduced.

Bozinovic on measures and e-passes

“Today’s increase is related to two localities, one is Brac, and the other is Osijek. In Osijek, these are known contacts. The situation on Brac is something that is a significant change compared to the days before. We will continue with concessions, the situation on one the island at the moment is not decisive for what we are doing at the level of the whole country,” said Božinović. He said no new decision on e-passes had been made today, as well as no other decision.

“Relaxation must not be relaxation,” Bozinovic added.

“We have said that we are going to liberalize and we are not giving up on that. May 11 is listed as the date when e-passes will be considered. We are going in the direction of full liberalization and that decision will probably be made in a day or two. Like the others, it is based on the general epidemiological situation. Today we experience it differently, but these are individual outbursts that should not affect the whole country. On the table is the possibility of leaving Brac closed and opening the rest of the country,” said Bozinovic.

Beroš said that a financial reward for medical workers on the first line of defense against the coronavirus is being considered, if there are financial possibilities for that.

Bozinovic said that the possibility would open up for more people to cross the border of the Republic of Croatia and that the recommendations of the Croatian Institute of Public Health would have to be prescribed for that, because it is still epidemiologically challenging.

Most of those infected are from nursing homes and are chronically ill, and Mestrovic says a few patients are in intensive care, and there are others who need oxygen. When it comes to elderly patients with chronic diseases, they are more at risk even if they have milder symptoms of the disease.

Meštrović also said that the findings were ready for a dozen health workers who were in contact with the sick and were negative.

“The Ministry of Tourism came to the information that almost half of the companies plan to pay their employees around HRK 2,500 during the summer months, on the CRO card. This information was supposed to justify its existence on at least one side, although it does not solve many other implications. experiences with other projects organized by the state, many of which are self-serving, and rarely achieve the goals for which they were nominally launched, we decided to check the real situation and attitudes of entrepreneurs around the CRO card,” reads the announcement of the Voice of Entrepreneurs.

9:40: “We can expect our premises to be flooded with cocaine when COVID-19 slows. The transportation of cocaine has continued by sea, and these containers are less checked and controlled in this situation,” said Zeljko Petkovic of the Office for Combating Drug Abuse.

9:00: Boris Jokic from the Institute for Social Research thinks that we can expect little from the return of elementary school students to school.

“I’m personally sorry. I think the classroom school is incomparably better than this school the kids currently have. No matter how hard the teachers work on your Third Program, I myself participate in a part in that program. However, classroom school is educationally much better. Now, what to expect when the situation is such that politics has made a decision that it did not prepare, did not plan, did not even think about what is happening there, did not consult with practice, did not consult with the profession. Then we have a situation where parents, unfortunately, as well as educators, cannot guarantee anything and we cannot expect much good on Monday,” said Jokić this morning on HRT Together for Health.

8:46: “The discovery of the life cycle of a virus is more about the creation of new drugs than the vaccine – it is known for an antivirus we already know and vaccines have been made, but they are under clinical trials,” said scientist Ivan Djikic on Good Morning Croatia.

“This finding shows that while we wait for the vaccine, we must do everything we can as scientists and collaborating doctors to contribute to the creation of new drugs that can reduce the transmission of the virus, prevent the onset of disease, symptoms and reduce mortality,” he added.

He also commented on the possible appearance of the second wave of the virus, saying that it was a real danger, but if we had the right measures, he believed that we would avoid great damage from the second wave.

“The virus is among us. I believe we will keep it in a linear phase and there will be no large growth in newcomers,” he added.

7:55: The Zagreb summit held yesterday by videoconference was the crown of our presidency, which we are very proud of, said Gordan Grlic Radman, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, visiting Good Morning, Croatia.

Speaking about how Croatia is facing this economic crisis more preparedly than the one in 2008, he said that we are strengthened because we have the experience we have overcome.

“Croatia is the best prepared and organized country, everyone recognizes it,” he said.

He thinks we will recover quickly, even though we have experienced a decline.

He also commented on whether it was agreed with Slovenia that the current property owners would not need a confirmation that they did not have the coronavirus. He says it is being resolved in the interest of all of us.

“With those countries with which we share a similar epidemiological picture, we will find the fastest solution, but we are looking for a European solution because we are responsible for all 27 Member States,” he added.

7:37: There is still chaos about returning to schools. Parents still do not know whether to send their children to school or not, and Minister Blaženka Divjak believes that only 20-30 percent of the total number of students will go to school on Monday, and rejects claims that classes are actually turning into babysitting.

Assistant Minister Divjak Marko Košiček and President of the Preporod school union Željko Stipić discussed the return to schools at RTL Direkt.

6:55: Doctors now think that the corona may have been “disguised” by the flu. This winter, they noticed long-lasting cough viruses, a passing temperature and a relapse.

“About three weeks ago, the number of visits to us, primarily from school children from 1st to 4th grade, increased significantly, and in the last ten days it has dropped to kindergarten age,” said Đurđa Španović, president of the Society for Preventive and Social Pediatrics.

“Now that we go back and think about what the clinical picture was, we can expect the virus to appear earlier than we expected and before we assumed. But at that point, as it was flu season, we didn’t see it as a coronavirus infection but as the flu or a flu-like syndrome,” said family medicine specialist Dr. Ines Balint.

6:50: The first serology testing of employees has begun at the Infectious Diseases Clinic “Dr. Fran Mihaljević”.

The test itself takes about twenty minutes, but the results will arrive when everyone is tested.

After that test, you will know who has infected and recovered from the virus, or who has developed all the antibodies, and how many people have gone through the same process across the country, we can find out next week.

The head of the Clinic for Infectious Diseases, Ivan Puljiz, told RTL Danas that the tests at the Clinic started yesterday. “Today is the second day of testing, and the results will be completed and consolidated when samples are taken from all our employees. We expect them in a week or 10 days,” Puljiz said.

What is the situation in the countries that tested it?

The tests were conducted by Slovenia and the Czech Republic.

“According to official data, slightly less than 60,000 people have been tested in Slovenia since the beginning of the epidemic. This is a sample of the population of slightly less than 3 percent in total, and the infection rate is about 2 to 4 percent. This is a relatively low infection rate,” he said and explained that this means that 2 to 4 percent of the population is either in contact with the covid-19 disease.

“In other words, more than 95 percent of the population still does not have acquired immunity to COVID infection,” Puljiz said, adding that he expected results similar to those in Slovenia for Croatia.

“It tells us that we must be careful and that we must protect ourselves and our loved ones. We must adhere to the recommendations and principles of the National Headquarters,” Puljiz said, noting that the second phase of relaxation began this week.

“Caution! Most likely, more than 95 percent of the Croatian population, if it is compatible with Slovenia’s results, still does not have acquired immunity to the SARS-Cov-2 virus,” Puljiz said.

125,000 Croats Infected?

If this turns out to be true, it means that about 125,000 Croats were in contact with the virus, that is, they were infected.

“Of course, those are the numbers. But it is still necessary to conduct testing in our country. Maybe not at that percentage of the sample so that we can objectify. We see that similar results were obtained in the Czech Republic, so we expect that in our country,” said Puljiz.

6:45: The Voice of Entrepreneurs Association on Wednesday, on behalf of charter companies, occasional transport companies, rent-a-car companies and travel agencies, proposed to Hanfa and leasing companies a moratorium on leasing for up to 18 months according to the model 6 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 , noting that some activities are on the verge of collapse due to corona crisis and leasing costs.

According to their statement, some activities are based primarily on the use of equipment, most notably vehicles and vessels, financed through leasing. These activities include occasional passenger transport companies, charter boats, taxi boat companies, car rental companies and travel agencies, which will have no or very little revenue this year due to the questionable tourist season.

Occasional carriers have also launched an initiative, one of the coordinators of which is Marko Slišković from the company Augmentum, to organize a protest ride on buses and other vehicles used through leasing in the eight largest Croatian cities. The ride symbolically begins on Thursday at 11:55.

“It is our desire and obligation to point out to the public the problem that our businesses are in and that we will not be able to get out of without a moratorium on leasing. Everything that we have invested and built over the years can fail in a few months, thousands of jobs will be irretrievably lost. These are activities that require large capital investments and cannot recover until the next tourist season. I urge all citizens to support us as we pass through the city, and I also urge the media to accompany our protest and help us preserve jobs and our businesses for which we are fighting,” said Marko Sliskovic.

Similar protest rides have been organized in recent weeks by carriers in Austria, Germany and other European countries.

15:10: Health Minister Beros opposed today’s statement by Stozer against the statement made by Chief of Staff and Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic, who told HTV on Roman Bolkovic’s show that there will be no such restrictions as in the first wave of Coronavirus .

Reporters asked him at the intersection about this Božinović statement.

“Of course, it is difficult for me to comment on the Deputy President, but the question of all questions is whether there will be a second wave and what it will be like. It will depend solely on how we treat it. I as a doctor would still not dare say that in the case significant number of patients and in case of detection of an inconvenient way of spreading the virus, there will still be no restriction and all other necessary epidemiological measures related to the management of the epidemiological situation,” Beros said and showed that he has a very different attitude about the measures in a possible second phase of the Božinović virus.

Minister Bozinovic was not at today’s Headquarters.

14:30: About the second wave and restrictions

No one can know if there will be a second wave and what the restrictions will be.

Caution has led us to the situation we have now. We should be careful until September. Only when we reach September and see what the situation will be, will we be able to know what measures will be needed.

About the election

“We have communicated repeatedly for the second wave and the situation in the fall. The arrival of the second wave is possible if the virus takes over the season as it has the flu. That second wave may be stronger. But no one knows what will be. We currently have one of the most favorable situations in Europe. Whether or not the election will be I cannot answer you.

I do not know what is needed to organize the elections, but the favorable epidemiological situation we have now is needed,” Capak said.

14:25: About Koprivnica

It happened yesterday that during the transfer, what happened happened. I can tell you the epidemiology service immediately took to the field. We have one doctor and 5 nurses who are self-contained, it is important to say that they used protective equipment, but that equipment was not complete. We have made one instruction on returning the public health system back to normal, where we have provided tests. The instruction was that everywhere they are seriously ill that they need to be tested, and where aerosol is generated, but then we received comments from some professional societies … The number of tests is limited. We have options, but the number of people admitted to hospitals is large. We will have to agree on the priority in agreement with professional societies.

“Testing is just one element in the assessment of the situation. We will get adequate input from professional companies and then agree everything accordingly,” Beros said.

In some states, gyms are open?

“They’ll be here soon too,” Capak said.

About KBC Split and positive patient

“The patient was admitted in the middle of April. He was admitted as an emergency admission, without suspected COVID, underwent surgery three times. Only in early May did he show symptoms.”

About concerts

It is possible to hold outdoor concerts. Of course, this requires the permission of the civil protection headquarters, as there is still a ban on gathering people outdoors and is still valid for a limited number of people. By epidemiological criteria, this is possible. People need to stick to distance, if they are closer to wearing masks.

14:20: The search for a zero patient, how important is this to us?

“WHO has warned about this. Diagnostic scientists are aware of this. As soon as a little rhyme is captured, it is a matter of looking at whether we could find these diseases among some similar patients in the past. This is possible because we are obliged to keep a mass of different samples. it must be partly legal and partly for research purposes. You then take samples from the serum bank. These tests are still not good enough. It may be the most important thing for Italy, and these countries where it seems to have suddenly burst. It might have been a month or so ago. We had a pretty calm situation, we tested 25 days before the first case. rather than the positive ones, because if there were more of them we would have a different epidemiological situation “

By Friday, we will publish directions for national parks.

14:08: About canceling passes

E-passes have done their homework. Just over 2 million passes have been issued in all this time, currently around 290,000 are valid. Passes will be decided next week.

About beaches

I believe it’s hard to imagine in this situation. I don’t think there will be much of a problem. Citizens’ awareness of distance is needed. It will not wait for entry into the water, but the distance is required. It will not be a towel to a towel, a lounge chair to the lounge chair. But I believe we will enjoy our sea.
