Chiavalon Extra Virgin Olive Oil Wins Extra Gold Medal at 22nd BIOL!

Istria, known as the best olive oil region in the world, receives even more recognition. 

The 22nd BIOL International Olive Oil Competition was held in Ostuni, Italy from March 18-20, 2017.

Dedicated to naming the best organic extra virgin olive oils from around the world, Chiavalon Extra Virgin Olive Oil was awarded the Extra Gold Medal in the 22nd edition of the competition!

The OPG Chiavalon is located in Vodnjan, Istria. The specialized farm cultivates 25 hectares of olive groves and more than 7,000 olive trees. While this is this not the first award for the olive oil makers, the Chiavalon “Ex albis” is the most awarded Croatian olive oil and has been recognized as one of the top 15 olive oils in the world by Flos Olei.
