A promo for Croatia in the Austrian capital.

The Vienna Tourism Fair is set to be held from the 11th to the 14th of January and aside from international tourist destinations, the fair will also present a wide array of Austrian destinations to its visitors from Austria and around the world.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 10th of January, 2018, an impressive 800 exhibitors from 80 countries across the world are expected in the Austrian capital, all with the aim of promoting their countries as the ”place to go” this year. The fair is intended for the wider public and comes at a time when Austrians typically like to book their summer holidays. With Croatia having it all, and being so close to Austria, what more could they want?

Otherwise, the Vienna Tourism Fair is the most popular tourism oriented fair in Austria, it offers almost everything one could imagine when it comes to tourism and holidays to its many visitors, from city breaks to family holidays to active, adventure and wellness tourism.

As previously mentioned, in addition to tourist destinations from across Europe and the wider world, a large number of domestic, Austrian destinations will be offered to the expectedly large number of visitors. The foreign partner of the Vienna Tourism Fair of 2018 is one of the European kings of tourism, Spain, which will present six beautiful destinations.

The organiser of the fair has announced that with an entrance ticket to the tourism fair, every visitor will also be able to see the largest car fair in Austria.

The Croatian National Tourist Board and another twelve exhibitors from Croatia will be present this year. In 2017, 1.4 million arrivals from Austria were recorded, an encouraging 8% more than there were in 2016, with 7.7 million overnight stays, a promising increase of 7%.
