London’s Wembley Stadium, which is built on the site of the original Wembley Stadium that was demolished back in 2003, celebrates its 10th birthday today.
On this special occasion, the famous arch over the stadium was lit up in the colors of the clubs and national teams that have played at the English football temple over the years, reports Vecernji List on May 19, 2017.
The pitch at Wembley has hosted 166 different teams over the last 10 years, and one of them, of course, was the Croatian national football team.

In one of their most striking and memorable performances, the Croatian national football team defeated England at the new Wembley Stadium in the qualifications for the European Championship 2008 in Austria and Switzerland. Croatia triumphed over England with a score of 3:2.
One of the better football memories we have of Croatia, here’s a closer look.
