The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has made a decision on the fine the Croatian Football Federation will receive due to incidents in the European qualification match for the World Cup 2018 against Kosovo.

Index.hr reports that Croatian Football Federation was fined with 50,000 Swiss francs due to inappropriate behavior by the fans at the match in Albania against Kosovo.

The Croatian fans together with domestic fans chanted “Kill the Serb”.

The infamous chants were organized so that the Croatian fans would yell “Kill”, with the home fans responding with “Serb”. The chants were rewarded with applause, with the whole stadium together beginning to chant, “Kill, kill, kill the Serb!”

The Croatian Football Federation has been warned by the Disciplinary Committee of FIFA that the future behavior of fans, in case of repeated incidents, may impose more stringent sanctions.
