ZAGREB, April 28, 2018 – Agrokor generated a non-consolidated revenue of 43.4 billion kuna in 2017, down 10% from 2016, and an operating profit of 1.8 billion kuna, an increase of 8%, the government-appointed administrator for this indebted food and retail conglomerate, Fabris Peruško, said on Friday.

Last year, Agrokor achieved good results in the difficult operating circumstances because of which it has embarked on the process of restructuring, he said. “The results in the second half of the year are excellent, but the first half was really bad. Given the circumstances, the operating results are very good,” Peruško told reporters.

According to unaudited data released on the Agrokor group’s website, EBITDA was 665 million kuna, down 35.4% compared to 2016, while EBITDA without restructuring costs was 967 million kuna, or 6% less than the previous year. Operating revenue totalled 39.5 billion kuna, a decrease of 12%.

The Retail and Wholesale Division recorded a revenue of 31.2 billion kuna, the Food Division earned 9.2 billion kuna and the Agriculture Division nearly 3 billion kuna. EBITDA was 446 million kuna in Retail and Wholesale, 1.18 billion kuna in Food and 210 million kuna in Agriculture.

The consolidation process covers 105 companies, of which 52 are based in Croatia.

Total assets amounted to 8.9 billion kuna and liabilities stood at 32.24 billion kuna.
