ZAGREB, May 21, 2018 – The High Commercial Court has dismissed almost all 87 appeals filed against a Zagreb Commercial Court ruling on verified and contested claims in the process of emergency administration in the ailing food and retail conglomerate Agrokor, referring most of the parties to civil proceedings in order to have their mutual claims verified or contested.
Of the almost 90 or so appeals against the Zagreb Commercial Court ruling that verified and contested Agrokor creditors’ mutual claims, the High Commercial Court partially granted only complaints filed by the Franck company and the Berba company and complaints by four current or former workers of Agrokor’s retailer Konzum and Tisak newsstand operator, whose claims were initially recognised but were then contested by the Zagreb Commercial Court.
