ZAGREB, February 5, 2018 – The government-appointed emergency administrator in the ailing Agrokor conglomerate, Ante Ramljak, on Monday submitted documents to the government related to the hiring of consultants in Agrokor, the government said, adding that it will analyse the documents in detail and then decide on further steps.
“At Prime Minister Andrej Plenković’s request, the emergency administrator in Agrokor, Ante Ramljak, today delivered documents related to the hiring of consultants in Agrokor,” a press release said following a meeting between Plenković and Ramljak, with Economy Minister Martina Dalić in attendance too.
Last week, Plenković asked Ramljak for a detailed analysis of costs related to sub-contractors hired by the US-based AlixPartners, the consultant for the conglomerate’s restructuring, the press release recalled. “The documents delivered will be analysed in detail after which the government will decide on further steps,” the government announced.
Plenković requested the documents following media reports that Texo Management, a company where Ramljak was employed until he was appointed Agrokor’s emergency administrator, had signed a contract with AlixPartners at the end of April 2017 for consulting services in the restructuring of Agrokor for nearly 250,000 a week kuna.
