This new investment in domestic production is set to increase Vindija’s overall production capacity.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 20th of July, 2018, Croatia’s well known Vindija Group has now opened a brand new, modern and fully equipped turkey farm in Brodski Stupnik in Brod-Posavina County, worth a massive 7.4 million euro. The government, which held a session in Vinkovci yesterday, paid the new farm a visit.

As HRT reports, this new investment in domestic production is intended to increase production capacity. The Vindon factory, which was opened in Slavonski Brod back in 2003 under the very same brand name, offers both domestic and regional consumers the highest quality turkey meat.

The products of this brand proudly bear the mark of the Croatian Agricultural Agency “Meat from Croatian Farms”, which guarantees the Croatian origin of all products with strictly applied traceability principles. Since last year, the fresh turkey meat from Vindon is the one and only holder of official GMO free certification in the whole of the Republic of Croatia.

”I congratulate Vindija on investing in a modern farm in Brodski Stupnik. This investment worth around 7 million euro will boost Vindon’s production – with high standards of hygiene, traceability, quality (GMO free) – and open up new jobs. A concrete contribution to the development of Slavonia,” Prime Minister Plenković wrote on Twitter.
