June the 4th, 2025 – Croatian companies are currently exhibiting at the popular German Transport logistic fair in Munich, and they’ll likely make quite the impression indeed.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Croatian companies will be presenting themselves at the leading international trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management from the 2nd to the 5th of June. With the organisational and financial support of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK), the Croatian companies participating in the Transport logistic fair in Munich are Primacošped, Jadroagent, HŽ Cargo, Velebit – promet, Liburnia maritime agency and Luka Split (Split Port).
Every two years, this popular German fair presents the latest solutions and technologies in freight transport, intermodal transport, warehouse logistics, digitalisation and process automation. Participation allows Croatian companies to present their products and services to a truly global audience attending Transport logistic.
“Croatian companies came to the Transport logistic fair to prove that they aren’t lagging behind European and global competition in the transport market. We also wanted to showcase the fact that we expect further growth and development. In the next decade, large national investments in the reconstruction and construction of new transport infrastructure of over seven billion euros will help Croatia fully exploit its excellent geo-transport position within Europe. Better transport routes to neighbouring countries will enable Croatian companies to carry new cargo and additional growth and transform into true regional leaders in the transport sector,” said Dario Soldo, Director of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Transport Sector.
“The first Croatian exhibition at this fair represents an important step towards strengthening international presence and expanding business opportunities. The long-term goal is the internationalisation of our business, with a special focus on the Mediterranean and Western European markets, where we see room for growth and the establishment of new partnerships. We’re going to continue to invest in the development of our infrastructure and services, all with the aim of becoming a key point for connecting Southeastern Europe with global markets,” revealed Filip Rogošić, Director of the Split Port, before emphasising the importance of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce’s support in strengthening international business.
HŽ Cargo was also quick to confirm that fairs such as this one are crucial when it comes to presenting services, strengthening competitiveness and monitoring trends and innovations in logistics. “As the leading rail freight carrier in Croatia and the region, HŽ Cargo regularly participates in logistics and transport fairs across Europe. This year’s Transport logistic fair in Munich represents an opportunity to further strengthen international cooperation and position HŽ Cargo on the European rail freight market,” said HŽ Cargo Sales Director Tin Simonić.
One of the most important Croatian freight forwarding companies, Primacošped, expects to establish new businesses in Central and Eastern Europe related to shipping and the development of the Port of Rijeka.
“Our participation in the Transport logistic fair in Munich is an excellent opportunity to connect with global partners and gain insight into the latest logistics trends. We’d like to thank the Croatian Chamber of Commerce for its support and organisation of our appearance, which contributed to our visibility and strengthening international cooperation,” said Boris Vavra, Sales Director at Primacošped.
The stand was visited by the State Secretary for Railway Infrastructure, Žarko Tušek, and the Director of the Directorate for Railway Administration and Transport, Jasna Divič.
The Transport logistic fair is otherwise a strong and respected platform for networking, exchanging experiences and promoting innovation, which is of utmost importance for the competitiveness and growth of the industry. The last edition brought together over 2,000 exhibitors from 67 countries and regions. The exhibitions were showcased across 135,000 m² of space in ten pavilions and in an outdoor exhibition area. The majority of the exhibitors, as well as visitors, typically come from outside Germany.
