ZAGREB, March 7, 2018 – UNESCO has declared CARNET’s e-School pilot project one of the 12 best educational projects in the world in 2017 dedicated to the “use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) to increase access to quality education,” CARNet said in a press release on Wednesday.
A total of 143 project from 79 countries were submitted for the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa ICT Prize in Education.
The award ceremony was held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on Wednesday.
Founded in 2005, the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize recognises outstanding projects that make innovative use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in education.
