Conflict of Interest Commission to Investigate Minister Dalić

ZAGREB, May 11, 2018 – The Commission on the Prevention of Conflict of Interest has opened a file on the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Martina Dalić, following media reports on her role in the preparation of a law concerning the indebted Agrokor food and retail conglomerate and a complaint filed on Friday, spokeswoman for the Commission Martina Jurišić told Hina on Friday.

Jurišić could not say when the case would be discussed because the Commission first needs to see if any additional documents are required and if any other facts need to be established.

The Commission first needs to decide whether the information provided by the media and the complaint is sufficient to open the case or not, the spokeswoman said, adding the file was opened only yesterday and that a decision on the matter will be taken as soon as possible.
