Everyone in Croatia should be pretty aware by now that the local elections will take place this Sunday, May 21st. With that said, Uber is making it easier than ever for you to get out to the polls this year…but there’s one small catch.
If you are planning on voting in the upcoming local elections this weekend in Zagreb, Zadar, Split or Dubrovnik, Uber will offer you a free ride to the polling station in your city if you take your grandmother to the polls with you!
All you have to do is open your trusty Uber app, enter the promotional code, get your grandmother ready, and head to the polls together to perform your civic duty. Because Uber works hard each day to give you high-quality and cost-effective service, this Sunday, Uber hopes to further facilitate getting you (and grandma) to the polls to ensure your voice is heard!
So, how does it work?
If you haven’t already, download the Uber application at uber.com/app
Open the app on Sunday, May 21st From 7am to 7pm
Under payments, enter the promotional code “povedibakunaizbore”
Enter the address of your polling station and request your ride
Additionally, Uber wants to make sure you’ll remember this moment forever, so be sure to take a selfie with your grandmother and share it on social networks using the hashtag #povedibakunaizbore. The best photo will be awarded with five free Uber rides up to 50 HRK.
