March 4, 2024 – The draw for the Croatian Cup semi-finals was held by the Croatian Football Federation on Monday.
The draw revealed that Hajduk and Dinamo will play at Poljud and Lokomotiva and Rijeka at Kranjčevićeva stadium in Zagreb.
The date of the semi-final matches is Wednesday, April 3, with the possibility that one match will be played a day earlier. On March 30, Hajduk and Dinamo will play the SuperSport HNL 28th round match at Poljud.
Only one match is played in the semi-finals, while the final, after several years, will again be played over two games. The final dates are May 15 and 30. The first match will be hosted by the club with the lower cup coefficient of the two finalists in the previous five seasons.
Hajduk has won the Cup for the last two years. This time in the semi-finals, in front of their fans, they will play against their biggest rival. This season, Hajduk defeated Dinamo both times in the Croatian Championship, winning 2-1 at Maksimir and 1-0 at Poljud.
It is interesting to note that in the last five seasons, Dinamo has only won the Cup once. In that period, Hajduk and Rijeka have both won two titles.
