The Philadelphia 76ers convincingly overcame the Orlando Magic 130:111 on their home court, filing the team’s third consecutive win.
There are quite a few currently active Croatian basketball players making waves in the NBA today, and while we hear the most about Bojan Bogdanović, we can’t forget about Šibenik’s 23-year-old sensation Dario Šarić who officially entered the NBA in 2016.
A member of the Croatian national team and listed on the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2017, Šarić has made some impressive moves in his short career, and after joining the Philadelphia 76ers in July of last year, it’s good to hear our Croatian sensation is living up to his expectations.
On November 25, 2017, the Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic met in Pennsylvania for their NBA league match. The 76ers entered their third consecutive win and 11th overall this season, led by J.J. Redick and our Dario Šarić who played one of the best season matches. In the absence of Simmons, the Croatian basketball player scored 21 points, had four assists, and recorded seven rebounds in his 34 minutes on the court, reports Gol.hr on November 25, 2017.

Šarić’s percentage of shots was at 63 percent (8/13), and if you’re looking at the percentage of games played where he shot at least ten balls, this is his second-best performance this season.

In other Croatian NBA news, the Boston Celtics celebrated in Indiana with a score of 108:98, while Bojan Bogdanović played for 31 minutes and scored ten points. “Babo” didn’t have his best night (5-12) and missed all three of this three-point shots.
